Jubilee began as a blank canvas and an intuitive vision.
At the 2026 YWCA Duluth Gender Joy Art Show, community members helped bring the invisible become visible through a shared creative experience. Together, we transformed unspoken burdens into something vibrant, hopeful, and beautifully alive.
The artwork unfolded through four phases:
✨ Release
Naming the words, expectations, and harmful messages based on our gender.
✨ Reclaim
Creating a new foundation by transforming what no longer serves us.
✨ Reimagine
Claiming carefree creativity and choosing joy and possibility as acts of courage.
✨ Reveal
Making visible what has long remained unseen, the elephant in the room.
Jubilee reminds us that healing begins when we make the invisible visible, speak what has gone unspoken, and courageously imagine a better way forward.
She is an invitation to continue dismantling systems of harm, creating spaces of belonging, and co-creating a future rooted in collective wellbeing, compassion, and hope.
