Art of Presence is Political.

There. I said it - something I've been wanting to say for awhile and today, in the heartbreak and outrage, is the day to say it.

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on who my work is for and why.

At its core, my work is about accessing, trusting, and taking steps toward your intuition. It's also about inclusion.

I want to live in a world where people are free to be their full selves and are supported in designing lives aligned with their dreams.

I know I’m here to hold space and co-create containers that are safe enough to be brave, to be authentic, to embody your soul and what you’re here to learn and do in this lifetime. To be in the chrysalis of transformation, the messy middle.

I’m crystal clear about that.

And I wish it didn’t require courage to be who you truly are.

But right now, in this world and in this country it does. People are being threatened, harmed, and killed simply for existing as who they are. For matching their insides with their outsides. For showing up fully, boldly, and unapologetically. For simply trying to live their lives.

Art of Presence is political because presence insists on humanity. To be present is to see, hear, and value yourself and others.

I believe in inherent dignity, wholeness, and worth regardless of gender, skin tone, immigration status, who you love, or where you’re from. These things should not be political - just basic human rights.

When we lose touch with someone else’s humanity, we lose touch with our own. This has been an essential practice and touchstone for me, especially as I witness our country losing touch with humanity and the real harm that causes.

Personally, it means I can deeply disagree with someone and still refuse to disconnect from their inherent dignity. Because the moment I “other” another, I not only disconnect from them, I disconnect from parts of myself.

The harm we’re witnessing is not accidental. It’s a reflection of the individual and collective inner work that hasn’t been done.

The people trying to control how others express themselves are often afraid of what they might find if they look beneath the surface of their own lives.

Those limiting who can love are often living inside the limits of the love they did not receive.

Those violating the dignity of others have lost connection with their own.

Those silencing others are silencing the whispers from their conscience

These aren't excuses. The harm is real. The trauma is real … at a soul level.

But it is a reminder: when we disconnect from our own worth, dignity, and humanity, we cause great harm.

My work lives at the bridge between the individual and the collective, the Western world and the spiritual realm, the soul and its embodiment in human form. My role is to co-create containers of safety, authenticity, and responsibility in community. To stay rooted in humanity while staying tethered to your soul.

That also means holding boundaries.

If you do not believe others are inherently worthy, there is work to be done before entering these spaces. This is the paradox of exclusion for inclusion. There is pre-work required. And that work is not mine to do for you.

When you’re ready to be authentic, accountable, and care-centered in community, then this space is here.

I also see clearly how chaos is being used to divide us - to keep us spinning in an endless cycle of trauma, outrage, and helplessness. I’ve felt that too. And I also know this: each of us has a sphere of influence.

When the magnitude of “fixing the country” feels overwhelming, I return to these questions:

  • How do you show up when a friend is in need?

  • How do you listen, care, and stay in touch with your humanity?

  • How do you see, hear and value others?

  • How can you tend to yourself and your needs without going numb?

Do these things. That is part of the work right now.

And when we each do that in our own corners of the world, those individual and community efforts add up.

Art of Presence Offerings

Art of Presence is political because it refuses numbness.

Because it insists on dignity.

Because it calls us back to our humanity—again and again.

And because how we show up matters.

At the Heart of Art of Presence are these truths:

  • You are already whole

  • You are inherently worthy

  • Your body old wisdom

  • You are the expert of your life

  • Rest, play and wonder are essential

  • Presence is a portal to transformation

Here are some of the ways my skills and offerings support us during these difficult times:

Mindfulness & Retreats:

  • Mindful Mondays: Grounded & Growing: A free, accessible space to pause, reflect, and build the capacity to sit with discomfort and joy, pain and pleasure, struggle and celebration. If you’re wondering how to stay human amidst daily atrocities, this space is for you.

  • Re-Treat Yourself: A monthly virtual retreat for women to feel Empowered. Embodied. Enchanted. A space to reclaim wisdom, wellbeing, and wonder and to embody divine feminine power in a patriarchal world that feels threatened by it.

  • Accessing Inner Wisdom Retreat: Mountain 10 Journey Supportive community spaces for navigating change, reflecting deeply, and accessing inner wisdom as you move forward. I want to create a retreat for folks wondering how to show up in this political climate. Reach out if you'd be interested.
